I had the opportunity to drive two elderly folks to the airport last week. Both folks at 85 year old and needed wheel chairs and assistance. One individual was flying Spirit and the other on United.
I pulled up to the first departing flights door and let them out of the car. A fellow in a red shirt came and I advised him we needed wheelchairs for these folks. He advised that the red shirt guys do not handle United passengers but that he would handle it. I parked the car and went back to the terminal and the lady flying United was handed off to the proper service and was checked in and through security. The man was outside in the wheelchair with his boarding pass in hand and his bag checked. WOW! The man was wheeled through security by the red shirt guy and to the gate and on his way.
Such great service. I'm sure this service is appreciated by locals and visitors coming through Myrtle Beach International Airport. Keep up the great work.
Never miss a local story.
