My husband and I went for a walk on the boardwalk yesterday and we visited a gift shop there that sells T-shirts and souvenirs. I was appalled when I was standing in line to make a purchase to look up and see the F-word in plain sight on a decal made for tees. I would like to know first off why would our city allow such vulgarity to be displayed for everyone to see. This is a business that caters to all and there will be multitudes of families stopping in this store, a lot with small children. Why is it OK for the owner of this establishment to display such vulgarity? Freedom of speech is one thing but this should be a no brainer, common sense decision. Take down the vulgarity; you don’t need it to sell your wares!
