The so-called reality show “Welcome to Myrtle Manor” is not Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach is all the caring folks, all up and down the Grand Strand, who have donated so much to the victims of the Windsor Green fire. And not just old clothes, but paper towels, toiletries, toys for the kids, etc. Donations (including monetary donations) are still being accepted at many locations.
And our newest congressman, Tom Rice, immediately offered a place where folks could replace Social Security cards, passports, etc. -- many of the important documents lost in the fire.
That is the “reality” of Myrtle Beach, and I'm proud to be a part of it.
