Re March 14 editorial, “Fake pot, real bans”
After reading your careless editorial regarding Surfside Beach’s attempt to deal with synthetic drugs and the shop that is selling it in our town, it is evident that you have no clue what you are talking about.
We are Surfside Beach; we don't want it here! Saying that you can get it anywhere on the Strand, is that really something to brag about? That is why we moved here, small and about family.
Where were you when two parents that are dealing with children addicted to this synthetic drug came before Town Council begging for action, telling of the horror of synthetic drugs? You have no clue or you could never have written such an editorial. Shame on you.
Never miss a local story.
Three cheers to Mrs. Beth Kohlmann, the Town Council and police for stepping up. This is our town and we don’t want drugs or drug pushing dealers in our town. Sorry, maybe you might, but we are a family beach, small as we are and we sort of like it that way. Got it? Surfside Beach leading the way!
The writers live in Surfside Beach.
