Something smelly about cheese-linked assault

Re Feb. 11 article, “Man allegedly assaults woman after arguing about cheese”
I think that there may very possibly be much more to this story than meets the eye.
For example, is Mr. Rakowski, the alleged perpetrator, a “Cheesehead” (i.e., a Wisconsinite) and the unnamed victim an ovo-vegetarian or a strict vegan? Had Mr. Rakowski (allegedly!) adopted the ill-advised stratagem of attempting to overcome his partner's turophobia by force-feeding her a morsel of one of the more pungent varieties, e.g., traditional Limburger, or the recently-resuscitated Liederkranz?
I think-that there may be other aspects of this incident that were not brought out in the story. Possibly, the powers that be in Myrtle Beach are attempting to attract individuals from the Upper Midwest to visit, and eventually to settle here, and don't wish to offend same.
A follow-up story may have the (alleged) perpetrator released for lack of evidence; or possibly the victim prosecuted for “disturbing the peace.” All in order to mollify any prospective “Cheesehead” visitors.
The writer lives in Myrtle Beach.
