The Obama administration's health care plans and health care insurance programs are frightening.
According to the IRS, ObamaCare’s mandatory health insurance will cost approximately $4,000 per person, per year. Every man, woman & child must buy it in order to get health care...except for people who are deemed “too poor” to pay.
When the Affordable Health Care Act was enacted, we lost our freedom to take care of our own health care needs. We all must comply with federal regulations for when, how much and what kind of medical care we can receive when we’re sick or injured. Furthermore, the government will dictate mandatory prevention, testing, and end-of-life care. It is enough to scare the living daylights out of any freedom-loving American.
Individual states can refuse to comply with federal law. The Tenth Amendment clearly reserves that right to the atates and to the people. In South Carolina, we cherish our liberty and we rely on our state legislature to protect us from the onerous health care legislation.
Now’s the time for our representatives in Columbia to decide: Will South Carolina declare Obamacare null and void in our state or will the legislature cave in and relinquish our state sovereignty?
We expect our representatives to have the courage to reject Obamacare’s gross violation of our personal liberty. We want them to declare the entire Affordable Care Act to be invalid. The people of South Carolina deserve no less.
