Re Jan. 13 column by Bruce Glensky, “The economy and the meaning of life”
I agree that about 3 percent of any population kick-starts and drives the economy. I would add that the rest of the population are average people are the working cogs in the wheel of the economy. Those who do not work are ruts in the road. Unfortunately, the dominant political agenda of the day seems to demonize the kick-starters and drivers and elevates the ruts in favor of more government. How can an economy grow in this political environment? Who will redefine the new meaning of life?
