Hard to find where to donate for Sandy aid

I would have liked to have known before the golf folks decided to send post-Hurricane Sandy aid in the form of clothing, home goods, etc. I wanted to contribute a few bags of things and could not find anyone that was transporting anything. Not the Red Cross or the Salvation Army, but on WPDE news there was a small item about someone in Deerfield Plantation along with the owners of Two Men and a Truck that were going to collect and deliver.
I went to them; three women organized it, and gave them my donation. These ladies and the company deserve to be honored with at least a mention. I thank them as my daughter was one of those evacuated, and after three weeks is now back in her apartment, one of the more fortunate ones.
