Once again, Black Friday is almost here upon us. Before all of you early bird shoppers flock out of your doors on Nov. 23, please take into consideration the consequence of your action.
Not only are retail employees underpaid, they are also robbed of their family time on Thanksgiving. This may be a shopping adventure for you, but it is no adventure for those employees who have to be at work at 4 a.m. or earlier. In an effort to keep up with their competitors, retail businesses have stretched their holiday shopping hours and pushed employees to exhaustion.
Wouldn't it be nice if just one retail business would extend the holiday spirit to its employees?
