Re “GOP: Have you no decency?” letter by Doug Hatcher.
I must take issue with many of Mr. Hatcher’s assertions about the Republican Party and their persecution of Hillary Clinton.
Having read Dinesh D’Sousa’s book, “Hillary’s America”, it is incumbent upon me to give your readers some true facts regarding Hillary Clinton.
To quote Mr. D’Sousa: “Hillary has been in public life for decades, and yet she has accomplished nothing. Under her husband’s tenure in the
White House, she was appointed to head the Task Force on National Health Care Reform during Clinton’s first term. The plan was so half baked, and presented so poorly, that even Democrats shunned it, and the whole scheme collapsed and had to be withdrawn.”
“As a U. S. Senator from New York, she did not propose a single important piece of legislation; her record is a complete blank. Despite traveling millions of miles as Secretary of State, Hillary negotiated no treaties, secured no agreements, prevented no conflict —in short, she accomplished nothing. Lack of accomplishment is one thing; deceit is something else.”
Mr. Hatcher, everyone who has followed Hillary’s career knows she is dishonest to the core, a “congenital liar.” I could go on and on about her lies, but I will jump forward to the deaths of four brave Americans. I believe she is indirectly responsible for the deaths of our ambassador and three young men by not sending in the military to protect them. I suggest you rent the movie “13 hours.” This movie will give you knowledge of what happened that horrible night.
Our esteemed United Nations representative, Susan Rice, went on all three networks the next day declaring that the attack occurred because of a filmmaker’s video. The president concurred with Mrs. Rice. Hillary met with the mother of one of the men who died and she, too, told this mother that the attack on Benghazi was caused by the filmmaker’s video.
Mr. Hatcher, would you like to know what happened to this filmmaker? He was put into jail for some time, and he is now broke and living at a homeless shelter in Los Angeles. This woman is a power-hungry feminist, who should be in jail rather than running for president.
Have you forgotten that prior to leaving the White House, President Bill Clinton pardoned a notorious fugitive, Mark Rich, who had fled the country to escape prosecution on racketeering and tax fraud? Pardons don’t come free—the man’s family and friends poured millions of dollars into the Clinton’s coffers in exchange. Also, Mr. Hatcher, in the 1970s, a 27-year-old Hillary Clinton, working on the Watergate investigation, was fired from her position for being a “liar” and “unethical.”
Perhaps you should read Jerry Zeifman’s book, “Hillary’s Pursuit of Power.” Mr. Zeifman, a Democrat who served as counsel and chief of staff for the House Judiciary Committee, has been critical of Hillary’s actions during the Watergate investigation.
Donald Trump and the Republicans have a duty to this country to investigate Benghazi, the lost emails, the security breaches and myriad other lies she has told to a forgetful nation. Sir, I have followed Hillary Rodham Clinton’s career path since her husband was a little known governor of Arkansas. I clearly remember her saying to a reporter that she was certainly not going to be baking cookies if her husband was elected president.
Trump is not without warts. He is bombastic, sometimes crude, but he parlayed a million-dollar-loan from his father into a dynamic corporation and, I believe, he is honest even though the media attempts to smear him with everything but the kitchen sink, the latest being that he wrote a check for charity and took the money from his foundation.
The charity received the money, so what else can they pin on him?
He will be a great resident. President Obama likes to say that Trump has no foreign policy experience. I ask you, what experience did Mr. Obama have before becoming president? He was a community organizer who was elected to the U.S. Senate from Illinois, and he missed most of the roll call votes. Remember, Mr. Hatcher, when President Obama said ISIL was a “juvenile” problem?
Hillary and Bill Clinton are corrupt and known to be corrupt, going back to their Arkansas days.
Mr. Trump certainly has pulled some gaffes in his campaign, but he is not a career politician like most of those who were running against him in the primary.
As for me and my immediate family, we plan to vote for Donald Trump.
