When in 1621 the Pilgrims observed the world’s first Thanksgiving holiday, what they were celebrating, really, wasn’t a plentiful harvest -- nor was it turkey or pumpkin or even, believe it or not, rock-bottom sales prices on the season’s most coveted Apple item.
