    On Monday, March 28, 2016, Joe Maffo, of Critter Management on Hilton Head Island, and his grandson, Joey, 15, caught the alligator suspected of killing a husky at Indigo Run on March 16. The gator, which was to be killed on Monday, was a 7-foot male, about 100 pounds, and 18 to 20 years old, Maffo said. The alligator had definitely been fed in the past, he said.
