One man was injured during a shooting on Shetland Lane in Myrtle Beach Tuesday, but he is expected to survive.
Horry County police responded to 3225 Shetland Lane around 4:45 p.m. in reference to a gunshot victim, according to Sgt. Thomas DelPercio. A white male was shot once in the extremities and has non-life threatening injuries, DelPercio said.
An altercation broke out during a civil serving process – where civilians deliver court papers – when one man was shot, DelPercio said. The victim was taken to Grand Strand Medical Center.
Police detained several suspects and are questioning them, DelPercio said. Horry County police are still investigating the incident.
