Myrtle Beach police arrested five people in connection with an alleged strong arm robbery and assault that occurred early Thursday morning on Ocean Boulevard.
Jarrell Thaddeus Mccray, 29, Christopher David-Michael Hein, 25, Thomas Edward Carraway, 21, Justin Allen Carraway, 22, Amanda Nicole Humphries, 18, were each arrested on Monday and charged with strong arm robbery, according to jail records.
Their hometowns were not provided in jail records available at the Myrtle Beach jail website.
The group was being held at the Myrtle Beach Jail Tuesday morning, and all of them were awaiting a bond hearing.

Officers were called in reference to the incident about 2:40 a.m. Thursday to a resort on the 100 block of Ocean Boulevard where a 22-year-old victim reported the alleged robbery, which he said happened in front of the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum at Ninth Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard, police said.
The victim told police he was walking down Ocean Boulevard when one of the suspects approached him and asked if he wanted to meet a girl. The victim said he told the suspect he didn’t have any money, authorities said.
The victim said he ran from the area when the suspect was joined by three others, but said he fell down while trying to get away. The victim said he was kicked in the head by the suspect who first confronted him, police said.
The victim said he got up and ran, but fell down and was kicked in the head again. The victim said two suspects kicked him in the head repeatedly, and he then pretended to be unconscious while he felt the suspects go through his pockets, according to a police report.
The victim said his wallet, containing a debit card and driver’s license, and his cellphone, valued at $150, police said.
The victim described his group of alleged attackers as being made up of four men and one woman.
