Kansas City Police Department Sergeant Kari Thompson says responding Kansas City Fire Department crews located a deceased male inside the house at 7100 block of Strupwood Court on Kansas City's east side.
During a Saturday press conference. Kelli Bailiff, of the Wyandotte County Sheriff's Department, and Terry Zeigler, KCK police chief, spoke about the two deputies who were killed Friday while transporting an inmate.

During a news conference Saturday morning, Kansas City, Kan., Mayor David Alvey spoke about the two Wyandotte County Sheriff's deputies who were shot Friday while transporting an inmate. Patrick Rohrer and Theresa King were both killed.
