Police found a man on a roof and a bag of heroin on the ground when responding to a “suspicious” call on S.C. Highway 15 Saturday night, according to a Myrtle Beach police report.
Officers were called to a pawn shop in the 300-block at 11:55 p.m. Officer C.M. Warren was in the process of trying to get a man off of the building’s roof when other officers arrived, according to the report.
“Warren informed me that when he got to the roof to get the offender down he observed the offender walk to the other side of the roof and drop something off,” Officer Jacob Duesing noted in his report. “I walked to the other side of the building to see if I could locate what was dropped.”
Duesing noted he found a “small baggie that contained a brown in color powder and multiple smaller baggies,” according to the report.

The powder in the bags tested positive for heroin and had a packaged weight of 1 gram, police say.
Thirty-five-year-old Luis Samuel Concepcion of Conway was charged with loitering of a harmful purpose. Police say a warrant was also requested to charge Concepcion with possession with intent to distribute heroin.
