Conway police have two people in custody following a bank robbery early Friday, Lt. Selena Small said.
Officers were called about 9 a.m. Friday to Conway National Bank at 2810 Church St., for the robbery, Small said. The bank was able to give enough detailed information for officers to apprehend a male and a female nearby, Small said. Two people were taken into custody in connection with the robbery.
The names of the two charged will be released when they are formally charged, Small said. No one was hurt during the robbery and officers are still continuing their investigation, she said.
Around 9:05 a.m., a white female entered the bank and demanded money from the teller, Small said. The woman did not present a weapon and fled the bank with a male suspect.
More details are expected to be released later in the day.
