The Horry County Police Department hosted a town hall meeting Monday night in order to create an open dialogue about the community concerns of residents in the North Myrtle Beach, Little River, and Longs areas.
The group was set to meet from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 2 in the North Myrtle Beach High School auditorium. A press release about the event said that the department wants to “enhance the partnership” between the community and police and to improve the local community.
A Facebook posting by the police department said residents and business owners in the unincorporated areas of North Myrtle Beach, Longs, Wampee, and Little River were invited and that everyone was welcome to attend.
