Myrtle Beach woman reports man exposed himself to her inside a van

Myrtle Beach police searched Tuesday for a man who reportedly exposed himself to a woman while he drove alongside her in a van, according to a police report.

The woman, whose age was not listed in the report, told officers that she about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday she was walking on 17th Avenue South between Yaupon Street and Kings Highway when a white work van pulled up next to her, police said.

The woman said the driver had exposed himself and asked her if she needed a ride, according to the report. The woman declined and continued to walk away.

The woman said the man drove up next to her and had exposed himself again and the woman said she was calling police, so the man drove away, according to the report. The woman said the van was pulling a trailer. Officers searched the area, but did not find the van or the man.
