An undercover Myrtle Beach police officer charged a 30-year-old woman with prostitution Saturday night, according to a police report.

Christina Ann Leftridge, 30, of Myrtle Beach was charged with first-offense prostitution after an officer was working undercover about 9:45 p.m. Saturday in the area of Eighth Avenue South and Yaupon Drive, police said.

The officer wrote in the report that Leftridge tried to get his attention as he drove by, so he turned the vehicle around and went back, according to the report. The officer said Leftridge got into the vehicle and asked if he was a “cop.”

The officer said a deal was made for a sexual act and then other officers stopped the vehicle and took Leftridge into custody, according to the report.
