Three arrested in Georgetown County drug-related search warrant

Two men and one woman, all of Andrews, were arrested Saturday and booked in the Georgetown County Detention Center on drug-related charges.

Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgetown Police Department arrested Aaron Clent Williams, 32, 826 N. Beech Ave., for distribution of marijuana, possession with the intent to deliver marijuana and possession of a stolen handgun. Also arrested was Cleontine Leontine Leggette, 32, 826 N. Morgan Ave., for possession with the intent to deliver marijuana and possession of a stolen handgun. A third person, Sha’rone Lamont Farmer, 17, 50 Armstead St., was arrested for possession with the intent to deliver marijuana.

The arrests are the result of a search warrant executed Saturday in Georgetown County near Andrews. Police recovered about a quarter pound of marijuana, digital scales and packaging materials, a stolen .40 caliber fully loaded handgun and about $1,300 in cash.

Formal charges were expected to be filed.
