Georgetown County looking for two in connection with credit card fraud

Deputies in Georgetown County seek help identifying two men wanted in connection with using a stolen credit card, said Carrie Cuthbertson, spokeswoman for the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.

Cuthbertson said a car was broken into on South Waccamaw Drive in Murrells Inlet July 18 and several items including a credit card were taken. About 6:30 a.m. July 18, the credit card was used for purchases at the Wal-Mart in Garden City.

Anyone with information about the men can call 546-5101 or send an anonymous tip by texting “GCSOTIP” followed by the message to 274637.
