Man reports being ordered to “get naked” during Myrtle Beach robbery

A 26-year-old man told Myrtle Beach police he was forced to drop his pants when two men robbed him at gunpoint early Sunday, according to a police report.

The victim told officers that about 2:30 a.m. Sunday he was walking in the area of First Avenue and Chester Street when two men came from behind a golf cart and robbed him, police said.

The victim said the men used their shirts to hide their faces and one man was armed with a handgun, according to the report. The victim said the armed man pointed the gun at his head and ordered him not to move as the second man searched the victim’s pockets.

The victim said the robbers took everything from his pockets before one of the men ordered him to “get naked,” according to the report. The victim said he dropped his pants and the robbers ran away.

The victim reported cash, his identification and his cellphone were stolen during the incident.
