Seven injured in crash at S.C. 544 and S.C. 31 interchange in Horry County

Firefighters and police responded about 1:30 p.m. Friday to a crash involving a vehicle that rolled over on S.C. 544 at S.C. 31.

Horry County Fire Rescue spokesman Brian VanAernem said traffic is blocked in the area and drivers should seek alternate routes.

Assistant Fire Chief Justin Gibbins said a total of seven people are injured in the crash, some of which were initially trapped inside a vehicle.
