Myrtle Beach police investigate gunshots fired into vehicle

A 42-year-old man told Myrtle Beach police his vehicle was struck by bullets while he was driving along Kings Highway early Friday, according to a police report.
The victim called officers at 3:45 a.m. Friday to report he was driving north on Kings Highway near 44th Avenue North when he heard gunshots, police said.
The victim told police he stopped his vehicle in a nearby parking lot and saw small bullet holes, which he thought were made by a BB gun, according to the report. Officers searched the area, but did not find any suspects.
Officers determined the bullet holes were fired from a small caliber gun, according to the report. No other details were available.
