Authorities have named a suspect in a fatal pre-dawn shooting Sunday at a Myrtle Beach-area billiards hall.
They have issued a warrant for 27-year-old Cliston Bellamy, according to a post on the Horry County Police Department’s Facebook page. Bellamy is described as 6-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs about 260 pounds.
He is being sought in connection with the death of a man identified as Jaquann Price, 24, of Longs.
The Horry County Major Case squad was called to investigate his shooting, which occurred around 3 a.m. Sunday at Smokehouse Billiards on Waccamaw Boulevard, according to a release from Lt. Robert Kegler, police spokesman.
Price was taken by ambulance to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, here he died at 6:28 a.m., according to Willard.
Details about a motive for the slaying were not available.
