Two men are in police custody in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier this week at a Little River convenience store, according to authorities.
Alvin Johnson, 21, and Joshua Lamarcus Livingston, 19, both of Little River are charged with attempted murder, Lt. Robert Kegler said. Livingston was arrested Wednesday and Johnson turned himself in to police Thursday.
Both men are being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
Horry County police were called at 12:45 p.m. Monday to the auto dealership Bell and Bell for a man with a gunshot wound, according to a police report. Officers found the man sitting up and learned the shooting occurred at the Tiger Mart convenience store located on Secondary Highway 57.
Officers also found damage to three vehicles in the parking lot, which were associated with the incident.
It was unclear how police connected Livingston and the other man, who is awaiting charges, to the incident. The age of the victim and his condition were not listed in the report.
