North Myrtle Beach police were called at 5 p.m. Jan. 12 after a neighbor saw the 18-year-old running down the street asking for help, according to the report. The victim told police she met Dove for a pool party at a nearby gas station and followed him to a home in the 1300 block of Waterway Drive, which is in an area adjacent to the Sunset Harbor community.
The victim told police Dove, Cook and another man, who was not identified in the report, were at the home and she waited about an hour for them to clean the hot tub, according to the report. The victim told police the men gave her a beer and another peach alcoholic beverage during that time.
Soon after, the victim said she got in the hot tub with the men and Dove kissed and rubbed her, according to the report. The victim said Dove and Cook sexually assaulted her and she was able to get away when a third man tried to assault her.
The victim reported feeling “fuzzy and tingly” to police and told officers after she was able to get away from the men she learned they had taken her car keys and phone and wouldn’t allow her to leave, according to the report. The victim said the men kept telling her nothing bad had happened to her and that she could not drive.
The victim said she was able to find her phone after Cook and Dove offered her pizza and she locked herself in the bathroom to text a friend to come pick her up, according to the report. The victim said she then found her keys and ran out of the house, but someone had moved her vehicle up the street.
