A Conway woman is charged with armed robbery and police are searching for three men in connection with two men being forced to stop in the roadway and robbed at gunpoint of cash and cell phones, according to an Horry County police report.
Courtney Sue Braddock, 32, was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 8:13 p.m. Monday on a charge of armed robbery in connection with the incident that happened about 5:30 a.m. that day, according to authorities.
The victims, a 32-year-old man and 26-year-old man, told police they were driving along West Homewood Road when they were forced to pull into a field by some people who were blocking the roadway, according to the report. The victims said three men and Braddock came up to each side of the vehicle and robbed them.
The driver told police he was choked by one of the men and had a gun held to the back of his head, while the passenger was pulled from the vehicle and had a gun held to his back, according to the report. The victims said Braddock collected their wallets and cell phones and they fought with the male suspects, who tried to take their watches and jewelry.

Soon after the police took the report, officers learned that one of the cell phones was sold to someone. Police contacted that person, who said the phone was purchased from Braddock.
Police found Braddock and took her into custody and learned she was with the other men during the incident, according to the report. Braddock told officers she took the cell phones, but did not have the cash.
Officers found the second phone in her vehicle along with a pellet handgun, according to the report. Officers are searching for the men suspected in the robbery.
