Myrtle Beach police found spent shell casings in a hookah bar parking lot when responding to a call for possible shots fired.
Police combed surrounding areas and discovered three .380 caliber spent shell casings in the parking lot of a hookah bar at 637 Broadway St., according to a police report.
Police noted people in the area were very uncooperative during the investigation, the report states. No injuries were reported in connection with the shooting.
Authorities collected the casings and checked area hospitals for victims. Hospital employees were asked to notify police if a gunshot victim arrived. Officers viewed city cameras in the area, but didn’t discover anything conclusive, according to the report.
The investigation is ongoing.
