A 20-foot boat and trailer were stolen Monday afternoon in Murrells Inlet, and Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding them.
Deputies responded about 1:33 p.m. Monday to the Murrells Inlet Outpost regarding a stolen boat and trailer, according to a news release from the GCSO. The boat was last seen parked near the back, grassy area of the property.
The boat is described as a white, 1998 Key West, 20-foot, fiberglass Cuddy Cabin vessel, valued at $3,000 with a white Johnson 150 outboard motor. The boat rested on a galvanized trailer, about 23-foot, with the labeling “B&S Sportsman” on the side, police said.
