Police have arrested a fourth and final suspect linked to a Sept. 6 shooting at a Glenns Bay Road townhouse that injured one man and sparked a manhunt through a gated Surfside Beach community.
Craig Ryan Blades “was apprehended without incident and is now detained” at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center, according to Lt. Raul Denis, Horry County Police Department.
Twenty-four-year-old Blades, of Myrtle Beach, was the last suspect police were searching for in the shooting investigation, Denis said.
Blades faces charges of armed robbery, attempted murder and possessing a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Martin Alexander Gail, 18, of Myrtle Beach, was arrested Sept. 8. Gail was charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and possessing a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation arrested 19-year-old Timothy Wayne Daggs, of Greenville, N.C., and 25-year-old Timothy Devon Rouse, of Myrtle Beach, in Pitt County, N.C., on Sept. 12. The two were extradited to Conway on Sept. 21.
Daggs and Rouse have each been charged with armed robbery, attempted murder and possessing a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
According to arrest warrants, Blades, Gail, Rouse and Daggs entered a home at 1410 Glenns Bay Road and pointed firearms at victims demanding their money. The men fired their weapons several times inside and outside of the residence as they fled the scene, according to the warrants.
One man in the home was struck and was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
