The victims told officers they went to the bar to meet a friend. The suspect approached their car with a handgun, the report states.
He allegedly began banging on the passenger-side and driver-side windows with the butt of the handgun, authorities said.
Both victims stayed inside the car. As the car reversed to leave the parking lot, the suspect allegedly fired a single round into the vehicle, according to the report.
The suspect fled the area in a burgundy vehicle, and one of the victims told police the incident stemmed from a prior argument.
A witness who said they were in the parking lot at the time of the incident corroborated the victims’ story, police said.
Surveillance video also showed the incident happened the way the victims described it, the report states.
Police were seeking warrants in the case Friday afternoon.
