Miss Ruby’s Kids Annual Garden Party fundraiser with silent and live auctions attracted new supporters to this early childhood literacy program. The Garden Party this year was held at Kimbels at Wachesaw Plantation in Murrells Inlet. Guests enjoyed a stroll along the bluff overlooking the Waccamaw River while listening to Live Jazz by Hi Lo Duo and sampling hors d’ouevres. The funds raised in this afternoon allow Miss Ruby’s Kids to continue to provide home visits, support for home-based child care centers, and mentoring for graduates.
