Grills will soon be fired up as the fourth Horry County Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes, & Fries is set to open its Conway location Monday.
The new burger joint spot will open its doors at 2246 E. U.S. 501 in Conway, according to a press release. Three other chains are already operating in the Myrtle Beach area, and the company plans to open 50 more in South Carolina over the next 10 years.

The establishment offers a fresh, “All-American” diner experience with never-frozen burgers, cheese steaks piled on steamed hoagies, and frozen custard, which is made in-house daily, according to the release.
The restaurants’ have open-grill designs, putting patrons at the forefront of the preparation process.
“At Hwy 55 we are dedicated to treat our team and guests right and provide them with a better experience, which goes hand-in-hand with Conway’s charm,” Hwy 55 president and founder Kenney Moore said in the release.
When Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes, & Fries moves into an area, they like to give back, and the restaurant chain’s charitable organization, the Andy’s Foundation, and franchise owners will donate 10 percent of their sales the first three days, up to $1,000, to the United Way of Horry County, officials said.
United Way of Horry County strives to improve the lives of residents and partners with area organizations and focuses on education, income, and health and is operated by a board of local people who are familiar with the community.
