For the second year in a row, Coastal Grand Mall will be closing on Thanksgiving Day this year.
The mall will reopen on Black Friday, Nov. 24 at 6 a.m., according to a release from CBL Properties.
“The support that we received last year when we made this decision was overwhelmingly positive,” said Stephen Lebovitz, President and CEO, CBL Properties in a release. “It is based on this feedback from our retail partners, employees of CBL and retailers at our properties, as well as the customers in our markets that we made the decision to again close our centers on Thanksgiving Day.”
Department stores, movie theaters, restaurants, and retailers with exterior mall entrances will have the option to open their stores on Thursday.
But anyone still wanting to shop on Thanksgiving may still do so at the Myrtle Beach Mall and Broadway at the Beach.
There will be special holiday hours at the Myrtle Beach Mall, and shops at Broadway at the Beach have the option to remain open.
As Thanksgiving gets closer, a list of store closures will be released from Broadway at the Beach.
