With all of the flooding and damage the south end of the Grand Strand received from Irma, many are left with storm debris in their yards between Pawleys Island and South Litchfield.
Georgetown County announced Tuesday it currently does not plan to offer curbside collection of storm debris.
But don’t worry, if you have any debris you need to get rid of, you can take it to the Pawleys Island recycling center on Grate Avenue, a release says.
The recycling center will accept large quantities of debris, which would normally be taken to the landfill on Highway 51.
The release also says the Public Services Department is also increasing staffing at the recycling centers to handle the amount of debris and waste being dropped off today.
