The Ninja Turtles lunchbox held no pizza.
It did, however, contain three bags of pot, according to a Myrtle Beach police report.
City police on Friday arrested a 26-year-old Myrtle Beach man after they found a Turtles lunchbox packed with bags of marijuana on the floor of his SUV, the report stated.
Just before 4:30 p.m., officers pulled over a green Chevy Tahoe after the driver disregarded a stop sign at Prigden Road and 17th Avenue South, according to the report. When police approached the vehicle, they smelled pot. When asked about the aroma, the driver said he’d been smoking pot and had some marijuana in the sun visor on the driver’s side of the vehicle, according to the report.
That’s when police spotted the lunchbox on the floor board. A plastic bag was sticking out. The officer opened the lunchbox and found bags of a green leafy substance and a scale inside, the report stated. The greens, which weighed nearly 60 grams, tested positive for THC, a key ingredient in marijuana. The driver was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute,
The lunchbox was seized as evidence.
