Polls will be open again on Tuesday for the Senate District 32 Democratic primary runoff between Williamsburg County Councilman Sam L. Floyd of Kingstree and S.C. Rep. Ronnie A. Sabb of Greeleyville.
The two are vying for the seat left vacant when Democrat Yancey McGill of Kingstree resigned his Senate seat after 20 years to temporarily fill the lieutenant governor’s post.
The district includes most of Williamsburg and Georgetown counties, plus small portions of Horry, Florence and Berkeley.
No Republicans or others have filed to run, so the winner will most likely take office.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Any registered voter can participate.
