Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help from the public to identify possible victims of a man being held on charges that include statutory rape and indecent liberties with a child.
Police arrested Denzel Jamal Hill, 22, on July 19 and charged him with various sex-related crimes including statutory rape, indencent liberties with a child, and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, according to a press release issued Wednesday.
Since then detectives from the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit have charged him with additional counts of rape, sex offenses, kidnapping, and AWDWISI involving the same victim, and an additional victim. His bail is set at $2 million.
Investigators are asking for input from the public because investigators have learned of other unknown potential victims, and that there are witnesses to some of the incidents, according to the news release. Investigators ask that anyone who can provide information to locate other potential victims of Hill, or witnesses, contact Detective Ashley DiBella at (910) 880-4871 or Detective Ronald Clark at (910) 386-7080.
