Myrtle Beach Police responded to at least four shootings and three armed robberies from late Friday night through early Saturday morning, said Capt. David Knipes.

Police were called to Fountainbleau Inn, 701 Flagg Street for a man who was shot in his leg, Knipes said. Police were also called to shootings in the 800 block of North Ocean and the 700 block of North Ocean, Knipes said. There was a shooting in a room at the Polynesian Oceanfront Hotel, 1001 South Ocean, he said. Knipes said there was a party in one of the rooms and a man was reportedly shot, though when police arrived the victim and suspect were not at the scene.

Knipes said due to the volume of calls and work for the officers, reports of the incidents were not readily available Saturday night.
