Motorists along U.S. 17 Bypass, S.C. 707 and Farrow Parkway will notice changes Wednesday and Thursday nights when steel girders for the northbound bridge are put into place, said Lisa Bourcier, Horry County spokeswoman.
The work is set for 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night.
During this time period, motorists will be able to travel north and south bound on U.S. 17 Bypass, but no left turns will be allowed from U.S. 17 Bypass at the intersection of S.C. 707 and Farrow Parkway, Bourcier said.
Motorists traveling on S.C. 707 and Farrow Parkway when approaching the intersection will not be allowed to travel through the intersection or make left turns, Bourcier said. They will be directed to the right off of S.C. 707 and Farrow Parkway onto U.S. 17 Bypass.
Signage will direct motorists to alternative detours and routes during the project.
