Leo Days, an Elvis impersonator at Legends in Concert, will be featured in an episode of HGTV’s “House Hunters” airing Thursday night.
The Myrtle Beach man and his wife Ashley, will be seen searching for a home “fit for The King” with crystal chandeliers and porcelain lions, according to the episode guide.
The couple set a $250,000 budget and worked with local real estate agent Rachel Tipton of Litchfield Real Estate.
Tipton said she met the Days when she worked as a backup singer at Legends in Concert.
According to his Facebook page, Days has been working as Elvis at Legends in Concert in Myrtle Beach since 2009.
The episode, which airs at 10 p.m., was filmed before Christmas last year with a follow up in February, Tipton said.
“It shows that they got to buy a lot of house for the money they spent,” Tipton said of the home the couple chose in the Carolina Forest area.
Tipton said she thinks showcasing the Days could help the Myrtle Beach housing market as well as the area itself.
“They did a shoot day where they walked around the boardwalk and filmed a little bit of what the area is like,” she said. “I would think it would give a feel of what the city is like as well as the fact that we have these great neighborhoods.”
She said show producers said the episode would be in rotation for the next three or four years if anybody misses the Halloween night airing. It will also be online at HGTV.com.
