Contractors working on the U.S. 17 Bypass and S.C. 707 intersection project will need to relocate some of the signal poles Wednesday night to get them out of the way for the steel girders that will be placed on top of the bridge in the near future.

This relocation of signal poles will take place from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., according to a press release from Horry County. During this interim time, no left turns will be able to be made from U.S. 17 Bypass, which includes turning left onto Farrow Parkway or turning left onto S.C. 707.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department will be on site to assist with traffic, but drivers are asked to find alternatives routes during this interim time, the release states.
