Cindy Storer, a lecturer in the Intelligence and National Security Studies degree program at Coastal Carolina University, will be a guest tonight on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” airing from 8-9 p.m. Storer said in an email that she is taking a “flash trip” to New York for the show, and she also will be contributing another piece for the network.
Storer, a former analyst with the Central Intelligence Agency, is an expert on terrorism and worked with the female CIA team that unraveled the details of al Qaeda and its leader, Osama bin Laden, in the 1990s. She is featured in the two-hour HBO documentary “Manhunt,” which aired on HBO Wednesday night.
The documentary will air on CNN May 10 at 9 p.m. and midnight, according to CNN’s website, and Storer said it also is available on HBO-GO. “Manhunt” was shown earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival and is based on the best-selling book “Manhunt: The Ten-Year Search for Bin Laden from 9/11 to Abbottabad,” by Peter Bergen.
