A three-story, 65,000-square-foot medical center is coming to The Market Common.
Land is being cleared at the intersection of Crow Lane and Farrow Parkway to make room for the $44 million project operated by Tidelands Health.
The building will house multiple physician offices, physical therapy, radiology, pain management services and laboratory services.
“The Myrtle Beach area is one of the fastest growing areas in the nation,” said Tidelands Health spokesman Carl Lindquist. “The reason for the project is to meet the health and wellness needs of the community. Something like 75,000 people live within five miles of the site. As the community has grown, the need for care has grown.”
The medical center is scheduled to by completed by the fall of 2018.
