A new restaurant and bar is coming to Murrells Inlet, and the grand opening June 23 at 4 p.m.
The Whiskey Fish features over 50 different whiskeys and classic tavern-style food with a lowcountry twist to it.
“You can really step into the world of whiskey,” part-owner David Sapp said.
Located at 3415 U.S. 17 South, The Whiskey Fish will feature whiskey infused glazes as well as fresh seafood, taking advantage of the Murrells Inlet seafood community when available.
“It’s not the same as the rest of Myrtle Beach,” Sapp said about the Inlet.
Sapp is currently hiring employees for the restaurant including hosts, bar and kitchen staff and servers. Those interested in applying can apply in person with Sapp or send a private message to their Facebook page.
As for bartenders, Sapp said that they will be educated in certain bourbons, whiskeys and scotches.
