Heidi’s Corner Restaurant Group is hosting a job fair for two new restaurants coming to the Grand Strand: Hook & Barrel and a second Croissants Bistro & Bakery location.
The job fair, held at Ocean Club at the Grande Dunes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, will fill 100 full-time and part-time positions.
Positions include managers, chefs, cooks, bakers, servers, cake decorators, service assistants, baristas, dishwashers and bathroom attendants.
Over the summer, owner Heidi Vukov has hired two instructors who will give lessons to hired chefs for the restaurants.
“If I was a young kid starting out cooking, I would want to go where I was going to be trained properly,” Vukov said.
All full-time positions are benefit-eligible, including health insurance.
“We’re building an exciting team for our restaurants,” general manager Mike Abel said in a news release. “We believe that our staff is our most important asset and our success depends on creating and retaining a team capable of delivering an extraordinary dining experience to every guest, every time.”
