Four people were killed in crashes along South Carolina roads over the weekend, bringing the total this year to 778.
Horry County is the second most deadly in the state, with 57 fatalities on roadways thus far in 2016. Greenville County has had the most traffic deaths with 64 so far in 2016.
Of the 494 vehicle occupants who have died in 2016, 236 were not wearing a seat belt. The number of pedestrians killed this year (113) is up significantly from 2015 (89).
