Local residents affected by Hurricane Matthew can find some respite at the YMCA on Tuesday.
The Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and anyone can come in to take a class, use the gym, pool, showers, child watch or charge their electronics free of charge.
The facility will also be serving hot dogs and hamburgers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to those in need of a hot meal, also for free.

A meal and water will also be available to Georgetown residents beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Residents can pick up 2 MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) and a gallon of water at the following locations:
▪ Browns Ferry Elementary School
▪ McDonald Elementary School
▪ Olive Park in Andrews
▪ St. Paul AME Church on Powell Rd., Georgetown
Locations will be open until supplies are depleted.
